KITCHEN STEWARD / PORTER | £11.60 per hour All colleagues working in the following restaurants: Rajinda Pradesh, Huck's American Bar and Grill, The Pancake House, Sports Café, The Lakeside Inn, Foresters' Inn and Vitalé Café Bar will benefit from the discretionary service charge we add to bills. The majority of our guests are happy to reward our colleagues for their excellent service. As a Kitchen Steward / Porter, you will be responsible for assisting the Kitchen Team dispose of kitchen waste and deep cleaning of the kitchen and wash up areas. Responsibilities will include maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safety in the kitchen, carrying out cleaning duties as specified by the Kitchen Manager such as, sweeping and mopping floors and operating pot-washing machinery. The successful candidate must: Be able to work under pressure Have the ability to work on their own or as part of a team Have good communication skills Adhere to company COSHH regulations and ISO standards at all times HOURS OF WORK Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 80 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. Your shifts will fall between 8.30am - 11.30pm. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.
