About the Role As the Registered Manager, you'll lead a solo placement home where your main focus is on delivering high-quality, individualised care. With the support of a fully trained staff team (that is already in place), you’ll have the resources you need to make a difference every day. Key Responsibilities Lead and Inspire: Manage a skilled and dedicated care team, ensuring that high standards of care are consistently delivered and staff are motivated, supervised, and supported. Tailored Care Plans: Develop and implement individualised care and behaviour management plans, aiming to help the child build resilience and reach their full potential. Collaborative Working: Maintain effective communication with the child, family members, external agencies, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes. About You You’re a compassionate and experienced leader with a background in managing children’s residential homes at either registered or deputy manager level. What We’re Looking For Experience: Proven track record as a Registered or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential home, preferably with EBD. Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it). Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ofsted standards and safeguarding best practices. Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
