Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Service Manager to oversee our electrical service operations. The successful candidate will manage a team of qualified electricians, coordinate service and maintenance projects, and ensure that all electrical works comply with industry regulations and standards. You will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and supervision of electrical services, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day electrical service operations, including maintenance, repair, and installation work.
2. Supervise a team of electricians and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
3. Coordinate and allocate resources for scheduled service contracts and emergency repairs.
4. Liaise with clients, providing technical advice and ensuring customer satisfaction.
5. Develop and implement maintenance schedules for electrical systems across various projects.
6. Prepare quotes, manage budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
7. Ensure compliance with electrical standards, building regulations, and company policies.
8. Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
9. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and team performance.
10. Collaborate with other departments, such as mechanical and HVAC, to provide integrated building services solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. City & Guilds qualified or equivalent in Electrical Installation (e.g. NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
2. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a building services or facilities management environment.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, including BS7671.
4. Excellent project management and organisational skills.
5. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong communication and leadership skills.
