Electrical Engineer - Full Time
We are delighted to be hiring for one of our award-winning smoke ventilation engineering clients, based in Newtownards, that specializes in the Smoke Control industry. Established almost four decades ago, the right person will get invaluable experience & the opportunity to work with some of the most groundbreaking projects within Northern Ireland. Their clients include the Ulster University, Paper Exchange, Olympic House, Victoria Square, CastleCourt Shopping Centre, and Belfast City Quays, to name a few.
Due to consistent business growth, our client is currently recruiting for the role of an Electrical Service Engineer to specialize in our smoke ventilation department.
Position Overview and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks on a day-to-day basis:
1. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on sites across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
2. Carrying out scheduled reactive maintenance on sites across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
3. Responding to emergency call-outs for existing clients across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
4. Working on new installations across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with an exceptional work ethic who can work both within a team and as an individual. Our client can provide extensive training where required, as they prioritize attitude over ability.
Desired Criteria
* Strong customer service skills
* Trouble-shooting abilities
* Competent written and verbal reporting skills
* Basic understanding of pneumatic controls
* Experience in smoke control or related discipline
Skills and Personal Qualities
* Full, clean, driving licence holder (essential)
* CSR/ CSCS (Optional)
* IPAF (Optional)
* PASMA (Optional)
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual.
* Ability to record work accurately, both on work sheets and computer-based systems.
* Willingness to undertake further training.
* Regards personal safety as priority.
