About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Operations Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our critical data centre in Slough. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing engineering teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling and implementing deliverables against customer-specific service level agreements, while also contributing to the development and implementation of departmental strategy and objectives.
This is a demanding role that requires a strong focus on health and safety, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks through safe systems of work and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise engineering teams on critical maintenance and operations, ensuring adherence to SOPs and EOPs.
* Assist with asset condition reviews for engineering plant, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
* Ensure compliance with customer RNOW change approval systems and actively supervise engineering risks through CERM methodologies.
* Establish trusting relationships with site engineering teams, TET teams, DCS, and client staff, promoting a positive and inclusive culture.
* Lead cultural change initiatives, driving best practice methods and continuous improvement across the team.
* Undertake other tasks as required by the Contract Manager, leveraging expertise and competencies to drive success.
Requirements:
* C&G Electrical competency Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.
* Comprehensive building services knowledge in similar environments to minimum HVAC standards.
* Critical Environment Experience.
* Excellent customer relationship skills.
* Working knowledge of Permit to Work systems.
* Time-served Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship.
* HV switching qualification/experience.
* 18th Edition IEE Regulations.

We estimate the salary range for this role to be around £55,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
