Home Delivery Contracts Manager
Ontex is a leading international provider of disposable personal hygiene solutions for all generations. With a global team of around 7,500 employees, we develop, produce and distribute in about 100 countries through leading retailers and healthcare providers. Ontex was founded in Belgium in 1979 and is listed on Euronext Brussels.
To reinforce our Commercial team we are looking for a Home Delivery Contracts Manager.
Due to the continued success within the Ontex Direct Home Delivery sector, we now need a proactive Home Delivery Contract Manager to help effectively support the customers and local team within this channel.
You will report to the Commercial Director Healthcare UK & Ireland
We will be looking for you to actively support the existing Home Delivery Contracts throughout the UK to provide these customers with an enhanced Contract support experience.
What is the scope of the job?
Effective Communication: Keep clear and open lines of communication with Account Managers and Nurse Advisors. Ensure everyone is on the same page regarding action items and deadlines.
Detailed Follow-ups: After meetings, promptly follow up on action items and agree accountability.
Ensure everyone : Understands the project's goals, timelines, and their specific roles.
Data Analysis: Provide insightful data analysis to the team. Look for trends, patterns, and areas for improvement that can be discussed during QBRs.
Customer Insights: Gather and share valuable insights from customers. Understanding their needs and feedback can help tailor your strategies and improve customer satisfaction.
Preparation: Prepare thoroughly for QBRs. Have all necessary data, reports, and insights ready to present. This will help in making the meetings more productive and impactful.
Continuous Improvement: Always look for ways to improve processes and outcomes. Encourage feedback from the team and customers to identify areas for enhancement.
Work cross functionally: Ensure everyone understands the project's goals, timelines, and their specific roles.
Flexibility: Be open to different approaches and be willing to adapt as needed.
Build Trust: Establish a strong relationship with the customer by being reliable, transparent, and showing genuine interest in their success.
What am I expected to deliver, and what are my main tasks?
Develop and follow up the account plans with objectives. goals, strategies and measures to ensure there is a plan to help with decision making.
Manage aspects of the commercial negotiations in conjunction with the sales team to help maximise the benefits for Ontex and the customers.
Develop and maintain a positive relationship for customers.
Prepare effectively for customer meetings and ensure regular meetings with the customers to maintain/develop the customer relationships and business plans.
Summarise all meetings with a visit report with key next steps / actions to ensure effective communication.
Keep working capital under control - Forecasting accuracy and overdue follow up where appropriate to improve efficient ways of working.
Analyse the sales evolution vs. internal targets but also benchmark the market trends and identify new actions to aid effective planning.
Work closely with the account managers and Nurse Advisors to execute plans effectively and offer support where necessary.
Support the National Sales manager when applicable and when necessary, execute tasks that they are unable to carry out or when they need assistance.
Understand the Customer's Business: Gain a deep understanding of the customer's industry, business model, and specific challenges they face.
Provide Tailored Solutions: Offer customized advice and solutions that address the customer's unique needs and challenges. This may include conducting joint planning sessions with the customer designed to agree common visions, strategy goals and actions
Follow Up: Regularly check in with the customer to ensure the solutions are working and to offer additional support if needed.
Establish true partnerships with external and internal customers by providing proactive support and guidance. This includes resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes.
With whom do I need to collaborate to get the job done?
You’ll be the key person to coordinate internally and communicate externally to the customer. For this, you must be able to work with many different departments of the company such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Services and Sales. Your unique objective is satisfying customer demands but with the lowest complexity and highest contribution possible to Ontex.
At times, you’ll need to deal with internal decisions that can be in the opposite direction of the customer demands. For example, the need to understand and “respect” coherence in the market, which sometimes could be difficult as it may be in the opposite direction of the customer’s particular requests. Here, you’ll need to collaborate with internal departments to get the best outcome possible.
What do I need to be successful in this role
You’ll be someone who is very customer focused and is driven to achieve excellence, enjoys learning about products and the healthcare sector, but also keeping up to date as it changes. We believe that experience and attitude can be more valuable than educational qualifications, so the following are desirable but not essential:
Business related bachelor degree or equivalent by experience
Preferably experienced in the Healthcare sector
Excellent product knowledge, preferably in adult or baby hygiene products.
Experience with CRM
Proficient in MS Office and Data Analysis
Full driving License as travel will be required
Fluent in English
Management experience
Experience in managing large Key Accounts/ complex customer scenarios
