General Practitioner - Pen-y-Cae Surgery
Due to maternity leave in the partnership, a 4-session salaried GP role is available in Ebbw Vale, which is in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. Open to experienced or newly qualified GPs.
The practice:
* Training practice - GP registrar and medical students
* 7 partners (including 2 previous trainees) and 1 salaried
* List size 9500 with a diverse patient cohort
* Mixture of 15 minute face-to-face appointments and 10 minute telephone appointments
* Friendly and supportive team with open communication actively encouraged
* Well trained admin and reception staff
* In-house pharmacist
* Weekly physio appointments
* Strong links to social prescribers
* Moving to Emis in January 2025 and AccuRx
* Single site with free on-site parking
Main duties of the job
The job will be available from January 25.
To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract.
The post holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

* General Practitioner (Certificate of completion of training)

* Experience of working as part of the multi-disciplinary team
