Job Mission
As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in increasing sales and meeting customer needs within your assigned territory. Your responsibilities will include presenting our products and services to potential customers, identifying specific consumer characteristics, and making recommendations to promote and sell our products. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills and a high level of motivation to achieve sales goals. Ultimately, you will help us expand our customer base and establish our reputation in your assigned region.
Area of Responsibility: South UK
Key Responsibilities
* Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives and increase market share in the assigned territory.
* Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services and effectively communicate their benefits and features to customers.
* Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
* Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to inform customers about the technical aspects and benefits of the products.
* Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales goals.
* Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure customer needs are met and feedback is shared.
* Reporting and Documentation: Use CRM to report and record information, create regular sales reports, forecasts, and documentation to track progress and inform management about sales activities.
* Travel: Conduct frequent onsite customer visits and attend trade shows as required.

Experience and Education
* Minimum 3 years of sales experience
* Technical education (preferably in pneumatics)
* Proven experience in sales, preferably in the Industrial Automation Industry
* Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
* Experience in technical sales
* Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
