As an IT Support Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth IT operations by monitoring our helpdesk, resolving technical issues, and escalating more complex challenges. Whether assisting in person or remotely, your focus will be on providing efficient, friendly, and solution-driven support to all users.

2. Problem Solving: Work directly with service users—both remotely and face-to-face—to identify, diagnose, and resolve IT issues.
3. Technical Support: Tackle hardware and software challenges, implementing effective solutions that get people back up and running.
4. Inventory Oversight: Maintain accurate IT inventory records, ensuring that all equipment is logged and accounted for.
5. Proactive Engagement: Identify potential issues or areas for improvement, proposing workable solutions to enhance our IT systems and services.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
2. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
3. Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
4. Familiarity with IT inventory management and keeping records up to date.
5. A proactive attitude, with a passion for finding solutions and improving processes.
6. Experience of working in a similar sized organisation (400 employees).
