Bristol An exciting opportunity for a passionate Network Engineer to join a unique, multi-national Information Management function. Ideal candidates should be committed to maintaining our critical systems and ensuring the integrity and security of our network infrastructure. Salary : Up to £55,000 depending on experience Location : Stevenage, Bolton or Bristol Dynamic (hybrid) working : 2 - 3 days per week on-site depending on business need (i.e. we may require more than two days onsite during some working weeks). Security Clearance : British Citizen This role will require DV Clearance. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum, and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. You will be responsible for managing, maintaining and upgrading our network solutions to ensure reliability/availability and to protect against evolving threats. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll work on implementing changes securely, identifying vulnerabilities, managing network incidents and ensuring compliance with industry best practices. What we're looking for from you: Solid understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, VLANS and load balancing) Demonstrable expertise in configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting routers and switches e.g. Cisco Strong knowledge of network protocols such as TCP, UDP, IPSec, SSL / TLS. Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC) experience is desirable.
