Job Title: Kitchen Assistant - Temporary Contract
Location: Runcorn
Hours: 10:00am-2:30pm
Pay: £12ph
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team in Runcorn as a Kitchen Assistant on a temporary ongoing basis.
Our client is seeking a reliable and dedicated individual who is eager to support the smooth running of their kitchen operations. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the kitchen team with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a high standard of hygiene is upheld at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation of meals, including cutting, chopping, and portioning ingredients
2. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and utensils
3. Assist with washing dishes, pots, and pans
4. Organise and store ingredients and supplies appropriately
5. Support chefs and other kitchen staff as required
6. Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
7. Collaborate with the team to maintain smooth kitchen operations
8. Maintain a positive and professional demeanour in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
9. Enhanced DBS, dated within the last 3 years, is essential for this role due to the nature of the environment.
10. Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant or in a similar role is desirable
11. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
12. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness
13. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
