And thats what we try to provide - more than money. The role We are seeking a Graduate Commercial Analyst to join our friendly team, based in our Wilmslow office in Cheshire. Reporting to our Associate Director youll be working alongside a supportive team of Commercial Analysts within a high-performing and fast-paced Credit function, assisting in analysis of new business opportunities, and preparing health check reports. Youll learn about the credit and underwriting processes that underpins our business. This role is part of our graduate programme - Summit. Summit provides vital skills for a career in Financial Services along with developing a great network with other Graduates across the Praetura group. Youll have the opportunity to complete a professional qualification, as well as take part in other internal and external coaching and training sessions to support your professional development. Duties include but are not limited to: Assist in collating information in preparation for internal credit proposals. Consolidate and analyse financial data (budgets, income statement, forecasts). Observe underwriting and monitoring of business introducer applications and relationships to ensure integrity and quality of new business. Produce contracts and legal documents and liaising with company lawyers. Assist in the companys new client onboarding procedures, working with management teams to gather information in the satisfaction of pre completion Conditions. Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools. Keep up to date with market and portfolio trends, products, economy, introducer base by completing training and development tasks. Who were looking for Full training in the role will be provided, however the Graduate Commercial Analyst role would suit a professional individual, who is highly analytical, with strong attention to detail. This role also involves building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, so great interpersonal skills are crucial. Relevant background and a desire to kickstart your career in Financial Services (e.g., related degree OR experience). Strong communication and presentation skills (telephone, written, and face-to-face). Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Strong analysis and financial skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. A collaborative team player who is able to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management and thrives on working autonomously. Experience using additional business analysis or reporting tools (not essential). What can we offer you?
