What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the role:
1. Reviewing key areas of H&S risks for the company and implementing processes to reduce these risks.
2. Leading the health and safety team to achieve a positive health and safety culture.
3. Gaining ‘buy in’ from key decision-makers.
4. Implement best practice and drive continuous improvement.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
6. Ownership of all of the company’s H&S documentation and H&S training materials.
7. Provide reports to the board of directors as required.
