The role involves:
1. Design, develop and maintain applications and systems.
2. Team collaboration to create and produce high quality web-based software
3. Monitor and optimise database performance to ensure optimal application performance
4. General database design
5. Conducting code reviews and quality assurance procedures and providing technical expertise to business users of our applications
6. Manual, automated and exploratory testing to uncover defects, bottlenecks and other issues.
7. Database security to ensure confidentiality and integrity of data
Role Requirements:
8. Demonstratable experience with web-based application development, manual and automated
9. Exposure to ERP/MRP
10. Help desk support skills along with quick problem solving and analytical skills
11. Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
12. Proficient in SQL, C#, javascript, HTML, CSS, jQuery
Preferred Skills and qualifications:
13. Strong collaborations skills and the ability to work independently
14. Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communications skills
Working Hours:
Monday – Friday fully onsite for initial 3 months then hybrid work available, onsite working within peak periods (Christmas, Easter etc)
On call, currently a 1 week in 7 rota. 24/7 availability during rostered week.
