Role Overview:
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to elderly clients who require help with daily living tasks. You will help them maintain their independence, comfort, and dignity, ensuring they receive the highest level of care at home. This is a rewarding and flexible role that allows you to build strong, trusting relationships with clients while providing them with the support they need.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist elderly clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
* Support with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining good nutrition.
* Help clients with mobility, including transfers and the use of mobility aids.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, enhancing their quality of life.
* Administer medication as per care plans and assist with health monitoring (training provided).
* Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
* Build positive, respectful relationships with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the senior care team.
* Support with day-to-day tasks that promote independence and well-being.
