Soft Landscaping and Fencing, Team Leader
Salary £30,000 to £33,000

Permanent, Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours pw, 7:00am to 4:30pm
These are Full Time, Permanent, Employed positions. You are paid for ALL working days plus Holiday Pay and Sick Pay. You are paid for your time travelling to site and there is overtime at a higher rate!
You will have an important role in one of the most successful Landscape companies in the South West, a company that invests in staff training and promotes internally whenever possible.
You will be creating the soft landscaping schemes that are the “icing on the cake” for some of the most prestigious new build housing developments. Your work will ensure that these projects make the finest impression on prospective buyers and new owners. The role will utilize all your Soft Landscaping abilities and give you the opportunity to develop new skills and qualifications.
The Job:
Teams are based from the depot just outside Plymouth, and you will either start from there or drive the company van from home directly to sites across the South West. You are paid from 7:00am to 4:30pm daily, not when you arrive on site!
We are looking for Landscape Installation Team Leaders who will be working alongside and supervising Operatives on site.
1. Using Plans and Planting Diagrams to accurately create Landscaping schemes
2. Turfing
3. Barking / Mulching
4. Tree and shrub planting
5. Fencing
6. General Horticultural duties as necessary
7. Making sure that completed work is recorded and reported
8. Communicating any issues or problems with your Supervisor
9. Notification of any H&S issues, Observations or Accidents in line with company procedures
10. Making sure you have the correct uniform and PPE
11. Ensuring that all vehicles and machinery that you use are in good order and safe to operate
12. Making sure that all tools and equipment are well maintained, clean and serviceable
The Person:
1. A current CSCS Card is ESSENTIAL
2. Current Driving Licence is ESSENTIAL
3. A minimum of two years previous experience in Landscaping is essential, and a broad range of Landscaping skills would be extremely useful.
4. A SSSTS qualification would be useful
