Our client is a successful tech scale-up, a cash generative SME, currently at c.£5m turnover and c.70 staff, looking to double in size in the next five years under guidance of its experienced, highly charismatic and driven CEO, supported by a first-class senior leadership team. We are looking for a candidate to strengthen the quality and accuracy of the company’s database contributing to an exceptional user experience on the company’s app. Data Entry Clerk (6 Month Fixed Term Contract) .You will work closely with a small team, ensuring that the company’s database remains reliable, uniform, and easy to use. Your responsibilities will also include investigating queries related to changes in information and inputting data from large clients. As Data Entry Clerk, you will: Evaluate and verify user-submitted entries for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to guidelines, ensuring all entries meet quality standards Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in the database, such as typos, formatting issues, or missing/incorrect information Use Excel or Google Sheets to upload data in bulk while maintaining high quality standards Use tools like Microsoft Paint or Photoshop to add images, enhancing the user experience Contribute to the overall goal of creating a superior app experience Accurately enter items and related information into the database Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in data input and content review As Data Entry Clerk, you will need: Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy Experience in data entry or content moderation Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong organisational skills.
