A diverse, interesting, and busy opportunity has arisen for an external Security Patrol Supervisor. This individual will be protecting and supporting the local community and carrying out enforcement of relevant environmental crime and regulation as necessary on the streets of Soho.
You will be employed to aid and assist (as well as protect) the client and the client's customers in a helpful and professional manner. Preventing any threat to any tenant or other members of the public and any unauthorised persons entering restricted parts of the premises at any time. Ensuring that all personnel are able to go about their business in a safe and friendly environment.

* Position: Security Patrol Supervisor
* Location: Soho, London
* Salary: £14.09 per hour
* Hours: Average 56 hours per week
* Shifts: 3 days, 3 nights, 3 off
Job Requirements:
* SIA Door Supervisor Licence required.
* Must have proven team leader/supervisor experience of at least 1 year.
* This position involves external patrolling throughout the shift - Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods.
* Excellent communication both written & verbal and customer service at all times.
* Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
* Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft and criminal activity.
* Provide a visible security contact for customers and staff.
* Liaising with the Police and store management.
* To be vigilant at all times.
* The ability to think on your feet in fast-paced situations.
* Reliable, Responsible and Punctual.
* To have a smart appearance befitting the company.
* Willingness to learn and work with a team.
* Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
* Be calm under pressure - Have the presence of mind to be able to defuse difficult situations.
* CCTV, First Aid, Fire-warden, Banksman & Project Argus qualifications are desirable.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
* To ensure the highest standards of customer care are maintained at all times when dealing with staff and visitors to the site.
* To provide security services to an instruction that is considered a world-class destination.
* To be an ambassador for the instruction, client as well as CIS.
* Managing a security team alongside the security manager.
* Developing the team's needs as well as maintaining the team's daily roster.
* To liaise with the local Police Units on petty crime and other antisocial behaviour.
* To patrol around agreed routes providing a uniform presence to create and maintain an attractive environment for the people who live, work, shop and visit the area.
* Be the key customer contact for all daily operational security & Health and Safety related matters across the contract, liaising with the Police and estate management.
* Record all checks in the DOB & report any issues to the Supervisor.
* Prevent events leading to crime and report any possible breaches to the physical/technical security of the premises.
* Uphold prestige of the client by dealing professionally with people and maintain the client/company's image & reputation by maintaining a first-class appearance.
* Carry out Void Property check duties.
* Prevent events that lead to accidents/personal injury by reporting health & safety hazards to the manager.
* Providing customer service via store visits.
* Report all damage, graffiti, leaks or other issues to the manager. Liaising with management and the cleaning team to ensure the area is kept in pristine condition.
* Carry out full & concise handovers to the oncoming shift detailing any temporary instructions/events.
* Ensure all Officers report for duty correctly dressed and in adequate time for handover.
* To build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
* Able to make informed decisions under pressure.
* Be able to liaise with external authorities and services as required.
* To ensure that the Daily Occurrence Book is maintained correctly and that all relevant reports are completed.
* Responsible for all staff under their direct supervision and ensuring that all staff wear correct uniform, appropriate personal protective equipment and are regularly briefed.
* Respond accordingly to emergencies and incidents including fire and intruder alarms and assisting in the evacuation of the buildings where necessary.
* Provides necessary support and assistance to the Site Security Manager and site client in ensuring the site is effectively managed.
* Confident in writing incident and shift reports.
* Maintain a good level of morale and discipline within the team taking into consideration their welfare.
* Ensure that all staff under your management is regularly briefed.
* Carry out any reasonable requests made by CIS management.
* Flexible in the approach to daily duties.
