Credit Controller Topsham, Devon Competitive Salary Part-time Our client, a leading independent service provider, seeks a Credit Controller to join their dedicated finance team on a part-time, permanent basis. The role, provides a professional yet relaxed environment conducive to growth and collaboration, it will primarily concentrate on the Sales Ledger function. The ideal candidate should display a passion for learning and fostering relationships across the organisation. They should be proactive, organised, and eager to contribute to ongoing improvements in systems and processes. The responsibilities: Pursuing outstanding debts through telephone calls, emails, and correspondence. Recording daily customer receipts and managing banking transactions. Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts. Addressing and resolving customer inquiries regarding their accounts. Maintaining accurate customer. Generating weekly Aged Debtors reports with detailed commentary. Generating Sales invoices and Credit Notes. Collaborating with Directors to assess debts and decide on potential legal actions. Monitoring the Finance mailbox. Providing support during finance team absences. Assisting the finance team with various ad hoc tasks and special projects as required. The candidate: Experience in Credit Control with a strong grasp of sales ledger accounting. Proficiency in reconciliations. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with Sage 200 would be advantageous, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
