Part time School Nurse Band 6 (Contact Hub)
There is a vacancy within the Contact Hub for a part time, Band 6 School Nurse to work with a team of Public Health Nurses, School Nurses, Health Visitors, Child Health Promotion Advisors and Administrators.
Working with schools, families and the wider community to improve the health of school-aged children, identifying the more vulnerable and developing clear referral pathways so that all children and young people can reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will have proven leadership, experience, and knowledge of school nursing. If you want to make a difference to the health of school-aged children within the Contact Hub covering Cheshire East, Wirral, Knowsley, and St Helens and have a commitment to reducing health inequalities and working with vulnerable families, we would very much like to hear from you.
You will work closely with education and social care to provide services in response to identified needs, both public health and safeguarding.
As a School Nurse with us, you will be given the opportunity to demonstrate leadership while working within the public health, health promotion, and safeguarding domains.
You should be well organised, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate effectively with children and young people both in school and within other education provider settings. You must be committed to working effectively both within a team and independently. You will act as a Deputy Team Leader within the team supervising the school nursing team and provision within the Contact Hub. An in-depth knowledge of the current trends and developments within school nursing and the health agenda relating to children's services is essential.
