Responsibilities
1. Food Preparation - Prepare and cook dishes according to the standards set by the head/sous chef, ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
2. Station Management - Oversee the production of all dishes assigned to your station and maintain your designated area with supplies, ensuring cleanliness in line with policies and procedures.
3. Quality Control - Maintain high quality standards for all dishes, ensuring presentation and taste are considered at all times.
4. Team Collaboration - Communicate effectively with all other team members and assist/support colleagues where necessary.
5. Menu Development - Collaborate with the head chef to develop and taste new recipes, providing suggestions for improvement or innovation.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance - Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
Minimum Requirements
1. Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role is essential.
2. Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
3. Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
5. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
6. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

This role is mostly term time with 4 weeks work for summer school. As this is a boarding school, breakfasts, weekends, and evenings (06:30 - 19:30) would be part of your normal work pattern, so you must be flexible within these times.
