We have new opportunities for Registered Nurses on Ferndene Hospital site, to provide specialist care for Children and Young people, between the ages of 13 - 18 years. The service provides assessment, care and treatment for patients with mental health difficulties, learning disabilities, and autism, in both general admission settings and secure environments.

Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a caring, compassionate, and enthusiastic qualified Band 5 Staff Nurse (Registered Mental Health and Learning Disability Nurses) within Specialist Children and Young people services at Ferndene Hospital.
Successful applicants must have a strong commitment to the delivery of high quality, safe patient care. Applicants should have a minimum of 9 months experience within post, and if within preceptorship must be working towards sign off. Applicants should have an interest in working within specialist care in a challenging but rewarding environment.
You will work in a highly supportive team and will be encouraged to access training opportunities to further develop your knowledge and skills.
