Package: £50k-£60k basic with a six-figure uncapped OTE, which must be one of the best in the construction industry, and a phenomenal profit share / share save scheme. 25 days holiday, pension, BUPA healthcare and Employee Assistance Programme.
Territory: Birmingham and the West Midlands
Products: Flat roof and building envelope solutions, including waterproofing, standing seam metal roofing, solar PV and green roof systems.
Customers: Architects, contractors, building surveyors, local authorities, facilities managers, education & healthcare asset managers and building owners.
The Role - Business Development Manager:
1. A technical field sales role promoting a range of high-performance flat roof systems and waterproofing solutions.
2. Winning new-build and refurbishment projects on commercial, industrial, residential and public sector buildings.
3. With a key focus on the education and healthcare sectors.
4. Tracking projects with contractors, architects, building surveyors, asset managers within school academies and NHS trusts, as well as building owners and facilities managers.
5. Responsible for the entire sales process, from identifying a project, carrying out the roofing survey, writing the proposal, contract negotiation and project management.
6. The role comes with full induction and training, and you'll have both a mentor and line manager to shadow and conduct dual calls with.
7. There is a clear career path, with the opportunity to build a small team around you.

1. You will be a target driven and money hungry sales professional with a successful and proven sales track record.
2. You may already be working in the construction industry and looking to progress your career.
3. Equally though you could be coming from another B2B sales industry, and looking to carve out a new career.

5. First class communication and presentation skills, and a consultative and structured approach is essential.
