If so, then I want to hear from you because Reed Accountancy are on the lookout for a full-time, temporary Income Co-Ordinator for an ongoing temporary assignment, covering sickness (with view for extension and going permanent).Working primarily from home 4 days per week, with the occasional extra office-based days to carry out scheme visits and residents’ meetings, or collaborative meetings.In this role as Income Co-Ordinator, you will assist and support in the delivery of an effective income setting service across the business. Your aim will be to deliver outstanding customer service and aid income maximisation. Maximise income levels by delivering high performing, co-ordinated customer services ensuring service and miscellaneous charges are calculated in accordance with current rent and service charge setting legislation, regulations, and guidance. Use specialist knowledge on accommodation need and product to respond to rent-related customer queries including confirming new tenant rental charges taking guidance from the Senior Business Partner (Service Charges) where necessary. Use specialist knowledge on accommodation products including leasehold, shared ownership, social rent, affordable rent, IMR, mortgage rescue and supported housing, to calculate and produce accurate service and amenity charge schedules and statements for both existing and new schemes/customers. Set up and maintain fund value statements and fixed asset registers to ensure fixed asset replacement costs are being recovered accordingly. Assist with maintenance of rent and property databases; carry out property reconciliation calculations. Collaborate with Finance colleagues/budget holders on production of service and miscellaneous charge cost information and budgets to be used in the production of service charge schedules and statements Represent the Group at external meetings and forums such as service charge consultation events. Provide assistance to the Senior Business Partner (Service Charges) in forecasting income and calculating rental income budgets Collaborate with key teams, adding value by challenging service provision and costs where necessary to ensure that value for money is being provided and recovery levels are maximised. To be successful in this role, you must have experience budgetary control processes and working history within the Housing sector. Excellent Excel skills is essential to this role.
