We are delighted to offer the opportunity to join us as Practice Education Facilitator with the Northern Care Alliance.
In conjunction with the PEF team, the post holder will be responsible for supporting the provision of high-quality multi-professional learning environments within The Northern Care Alliance.
The successful candidate will be required to work locally within services where inter-professional learning opportunities can be promoted and support increase in placement experience and capacity.
The post holder will be required to support the breadth of the student experience, which may require cross-boundary working, and contribute to the delivery of the new standards to support learning in practice.
This PEF role will predominantly be supporting learners based at Salford Care Organisation.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assessing the quality of practice learning environments; ensuring all service areas/placement providers have up-to-date action plans in place to contribute to the annual quality monitoring of Learning and Development Agreements.
2. Supporting the development and ensuring a sufficient provision of practice supervisors/assessors across relevant service areas, providing supervision and support structures, building education in practice capability, consistency, and efficiency.
3. Contributing to the structuring and coordinating inter-professional learning activity across service area(s).
4. Participating in Quality Assurance Multi-Professional site visits across organisations.
5. Working with the PEF team to ensure an adequate breadth, scope, and number of placement experiences.
6. Developing and maintaining links with Education Providers to practice supervisors/assessors in practice to increase placement experience and increase student capacity.
7. Acting as an exemplary role model for students, exhibiting the expected Trust values & behaviours.
