Role Overview As a Tanker Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient collection and delivery of sewage, maintaining a professional and dependable service at all times. Key Responsibilities: Operate vacuum tankers on local routes. Maintain vehicles in a clean and roadworthy condition, internally and externally. Work independently to assess risks and follow strict safety procedures and PPE requirements. Log details onto company systems using a handheld computer. Collaborate with the scheduling team to manage workloads effectively. What they are Looking For Essential Qualifications and Experience: Valid LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) Category C driving licence. Minimum of 3 years of LGV driving experience. Proven experience operating vacuum tankers. Full Driver CPC card. Fewer than 6 points on your driving licence. Skills: Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and via email). Basic IT proficiency for logging details and sending emails. Risk assessment capabilities with a proactive, safety-first mindset.
