Project Manager - Food Equipment (Processing and Packaging Machinery Solutions) mainly covering snack foods, confectionery, cereals, biscuits and pasta markets sectors - Previous relevant experience is essential Candidates without experience will not be considered Candidates must have Project Management/Project Installation/Food Equipment experience or similar (materials handling, engineering solutions or similar) The Role To deliver the company’s equipment projects and contractual obligations in accordance with customer requirements on time and within budget. Manage customer’s expectations and liaise with all internal department managers to update/communicate project information. Responsibilities To assist finalising project scope, help with costs for 3rd party equipment/services Visit site to understand customer requirements and liaise with internal departments to finalise a proposed layout Support with specialist areas of costing regards project specific items or tendering Generate and communicate an achievable timeline (Gant Chart MS Projects) in coordination with all departments and in line with customer expectation Liaise with the customer to agree the final layout proposal and customer ‘sign off’ Ensure the order acknowledgement is correct and contractually compliant including adhering to all relevant regulations Maintain customer contact at every phase of the project and communicate any risks/changes with the business department heads. Monitor costs throughout the project and flag areas where overruns are expected and liaise with accounts updating the department of your project status, delivery/installation and completion with reference to invoicing customer stage payments in a timely manner Establish and manage a project through it life cycle to the satisfactory completion of the contract to achieve customer sign off Requirement Experience within a Project Management role (ideally in food manufacturing/food packaging/processing equipment industry) or similar Sound knowledge of AutoCAD (or similar) Computer literacy in MS Word & Excel - attention to detail with excellent communication (written and verbal) Technical understanding/ability a qualification in an Engineering discipline is desirable, but not essential Able to multi task, be flexible, work under pressure and prioritise work Team player, passionate, professional, committed, honest and treat people with dignity and respect The Company Our Client is a Global Market Leader in integrated food packaging, processing and turnkey solutions with systems installed across more than 120 countries, providing a comprehensive range of products now with over 30 offices globally, employing approximately 500 people worldwide.
