THE COMPANY
This leading international B2B exhibition and conference organiser are specialists in high tech, high growth industries. Founded in, they successfully launched a range of brand-new exhibition events covering diverse industries including battery technology, renewable energy, electric vehicles and advanced materials. Their aim is to connect buyers and suppliers whilst continuing to be an essential meeting place for business leaders and innovators from around the world.
THE ROLE
They are now looking for talented salespeople to join the team to help sell exhibition space, digital and sponsorship for a range of international events. Reporting into the Event Director as Event Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving targeted sales campaigns, calling senior decision makers around the world and building market leading events.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Building and managing a constantly developing list of relevant leads of potential exhibiting companies.
2. Managing and updating company CRM system (Salesforce).
3. Introducing and pitching the exhibition to senior decision makers from SME's to global corporations through cold calling, LinkedIn and email marketing to set both online and in person meetings.
4. Objection Handling.
5. Managing potential exhibitors through the sales funnel.
6. Face-to-face sales with domestic and international travel to third party events.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, driven with at least 1 years' experience across B2B sales. The role will suit someone with experience in a telephone based sales position who has the drive to progress their sales career within a thriving company.
