Job summary The opportunity has arisen to become Clinical lead in the Mental Health and Wellness teams in the Community Mental Health Transformation. The successful candidate will be a strong team player with at least three years post qualifying experience in a mental health setting. The post holder will deputise for the team manager and be able to autonomously oversee clinical systems and staff. It is essential that applicants have excellent organisational skills and are competent with using computer programmes and databases. NELFT is currently in year 2 of a 3 year Community Mental Health Transformation programme and the teams will evolve into mental health and wellness teams - they will be needs led and focus on placed based care - moving to locality teams around the Primary Care Networks. Main duties of the job Experience of undertaking assessment of complex case, including risk assessments. Experience of undertaking complex evidence based interventions that manage high risk. Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills working with service users and staff within a demanding multi-disciplinary environment. Ability to provide clinical supervision and undertake appraisal and performance reviews with staff. Able to deputise for the team manager and work autonomously when appropriate.The B&D Mental Health Teams are evolving into the mental Health and Wellness Team in the Community Mental health Transformation. The focus is very much on a team approach with ensuring co production with service users. About us Starting with NELFT NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.
