Purpose of the role To work alongside Site Managers, Operational and Commercial teams with the aim of increasing productivity whilst reducing costs to drive the efficiency and profitability of the operation, including the management and operation of the site TPM, 5S, and IMS systems. Key Accountabilities Daily operation and management of the Mechanical and Electrical Total Productive Maintenance Systems (TPM). Ensure all TPM inspections are being completed to a high standard and collate inspections for data analysis and report generation. Input data from checklists and present results to the site management team during the weekly meeting. Plan maintenance around budget and production in conjunction with the site manager. Analyse data and look at the frequency of checks for possible alteration according to data analysis. Actively seek opportunities with new technology, products, and suppliers to improve the process, reduce costs, etc. Record orders made for suppliers and contractors, and ensure goods and services are delivered to a high standard. Ensure servicing for static, mobile, and ancillary plant is arranged and records are collated and kept up to date. Record mobile plant defects and ensure repairs are carried out by an on-site fitter or relevant contractor. Contact contractors for cost and book site visits for repairs. Manage and update plant/equipment register to record component type, serial number, etc. and parts list the or static plant. Use process specific data to identify potential efficiency improvements in the process and monitor performance. Assist site managers with audit preparation. Help to find ways to add more value to sites/the company. Complete training courses which can help with role. Focus on procedures.
