Senior Service Advisor Vacancy!!
My client is looking for a Senior Service Advisor for their branded Aftersales department. This vacancy would suit either a Senior Service Advisor or an experienced Service Advisor who wants to progress their career.
Requirements:
1. Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
2. An ability to be highly organised and able to prioritise workloads
3. A positive attitude at all times and always lead by example
4. At least two years previous Service Advisor Experience within a main Dealer.
Key Objectives will include:
5. Maximising service profitability through the use of professional sales techniques
6. Sell additional products, services and repair works in a professional manner
7. Ensure customer awareness of all products and services available.
8. Approach all customers and assist with requests, including requests regarding parts, vehicle sales and repairs.
9. Maintain effective liaison with sales, parts and workshop teams.
10. Ensure the tidiness of the reception desk to promote the professional image of the retail facility and that all displays / promotions, prices, materials etc are current and in first class condition.
11. Maintain a presence at the service reception desk, ensuring that all customer queries (whether in person or on the telephone) are answered or dealt with immediately.
12. Answer customers questions regarding technical problems in a manner that is easily understood and does not use excessive jargon or find the appropriate member of staff to do so.
13. Pro-actively contact customers to update them on progress of work.
14. Notify customers promptly of completion of work.
15. Handle dissatisfied customers calmly and all customer complaints to be brought to the attention of the Service Manager
As A Senior Service Advisor You will:
16. Follow correct procedure when issuing loan cars to customers, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and copies of customer’s driving licence are obtained (when applicable)
17. Document all warranty work as per manufacturer requirements and retail policy and ensure the customer signs for all work undertaken
18. Accurately maintain departmental systems
19. Ensure compliance to all health and safety / environmental / company policies
20. Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as requested by the front-of-house Service Manager
Basic salary of£24k-£26kwith an OTE of£35k plus
Hours- Mon- Fri 8:30am-6pm with Saturday mornings 8:30am-12pm on Rota 1 in 3
