Are you a dedicated Paediatric Nurse that is passionate about making a difference to the lives of others?
We are looking for an experienced and committed Paediatric Registered Nurse who holds key skills and expertise in complex care.
You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.
Meet our service user
Our service user is a young boy who lives with his loving family in Bolton and requires a dedicated nursing team to support him with his complex care needs on a 1:1 basis.He is a very interactive boy and enjoys receiving lots of engagement from his care team, including taking part in some of his favourite activities, such as watching Disney films and playing with his toys.
Whilst our service user is non-verbal, he communicates his needs through facial expressions and sounds, it is important that you are able to interpret this to prevent him from becoming frustrated or upset.
This is a rewarding role where you will accompany our young service to school, tending to his personal care and clinical care needs, whilst also supporting his developmental growth.
Please note, our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
Essential Experience Required
1. Practicing Paediatric Registered Nurse with current NMC Pin for at least 12 Months
2. Oral Suctioning
3. Chest Physiotherapy
4. Nebuliser Care
5. Seizure Management
It would be beneficial if you also have experience with Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) administration, however this is not essential to be successful for this role as full training can be provided.
We have the following shifts available
6. Monday - Friday
7. 3-4 shifts per week
8. 8am – 4pm
9. Term Time Only
We offer a competitive pay rate of £35 per hour (approx. £280 per shift based on an 8 hour shift)
