As Business Development Manager, you will work closely with our CEO and be responsible for generating new business opportunities by planning and making outbound calls, arranging client visits both UK based and abroad, developing and maintaining key accounts, and upselling and cross-selling our product portfolio. You will also have the responsibility to provide, sell, and negotiate product information to generate a sales pipeline in accordance with company targets and development plans.
Minimum Requirements
* Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, New Business sales selling IT/AV B2B preferably into the hospitality industry.
* Knowledge of the IT/AV and Technology Sector.
* Demonstrable sales experience.
* Ability to build rapport with prospective and existing customers.
* Confident and resilient phone and face-to-face presence with a client-focused nature.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with prospective and existing customers.
* Ability to work independently and be proactive.
* Sales Hunter mentality.
Responsibilities
* This role is primarily field based, travelling to sites required.
* Researching and identifying new business opportunities and solutions.
* Making outbound calls to prospective customers.
* Arranging and attending meetings both across the UK and in Europe.
* Gaining a good understanding of the prospects' requirements and proposing successful solutions.
* Recording the prospects' personal information accurately in a CRM system.
* Working consistently to the highest standards to achieve and/or exceed targets.
* Effectively cross-selling, upselling, and maintaining a thorough understanding of our products and services, introducing customers to new and innovative products and educating them about the full product and service offer across our divisions.

* Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software applications.
* Confident, flexible, and adaptable with a mindset for growth.
* Fluency in written and spoken English, with additional language skills being an advantage.
