Senior Manager, Partner Growth Marketing - Merchandising
As the Senior Manager, Partner Growth Marketing - Merchandising, you will define and drive major merchandising workstreams for the Private Label Solutions (PLS) organization, working with stakeholders across the entirety of Expedia Group, including our consumer brands and our supply organization.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our PLS partners have access to highly competitive inventory during seasonal demand peaks, through promotional sourcing and supply optimisation. You will partner with Product & Tech to build out our scalable merchandising offering for PLS partners; in particular, our merchandising API and partner self-service capabilities. In your dual role as voice of the traveler and voice of our partners’ marketing organisations, you will influence the Product roadmap to ensure that newly developed features meet their needs. In collaboration with Product Marketing and B2B Marketing, you will develop go-to-market plans and drive new product/feature adoption.
This is a high-profile role, leading a workstream that is growing at >100% year on year, and interfacing with stakeholders at all levels, and from all parts of Expedia Group. We are looking for a strong Senior Manager who enjoys tackling some of our most complex business challenges and opportunities, and who is motivated to rapidly develop deep expertise in a number of areas, some of which require strong technical skills.
We are only hiring for this position to be based in either Madrid or London.
What you’ll do:
* Analyse, define and drive PLS supply needs during key demand periods. Working closely and influencing leaders across our consumer brands and Hotel Supply organisation to ensure alignment.
* Help define and execute sourcing operating model across the Group, ensuring clear accountability and PLS needs are met.
* Ensure operational excellence and timely delivery of sourced campaigns planning and execution. Define and drive a set of KPIs related to campaign performance.
* Work in close collaboration with product to define the longer-term strategic vision related to Merchandising automation and self-serve for our partners.
* Become the voice of the traveler and the voice of our partners’ marketing organisations, ensuring their needs are met when building the future state.
* Continuously evaluate and look for new opportunity to grow, simplify and streamline our merchandising offering.
* In collaboration with Product Marketing and B2B Marketing, develop go-to-market plans and drive new product/feature adoption.
Who you are:
* 8 years of experience, with a preference for those with a merchandising and/or product background or a similar role in a leading technology company.
* Experience and/or good understanding of digital merchandising is essential.
* Strong decision making and prioritization skills, guided by data.
* Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills, with the ability to work across functional areas.
* Self-motivated and ability to drive success with limited guidance, while also being able to act as one team.
* Good understanding of product management and product development lifecycle. Experience in bringing products to market is desirable.
