About the Role:
We are seeking a creative EYFS teacher to lead our bespoke reception and nursery class. With only 13 reception children and nursery numbers varying from 2 to 6 per day, you will have the chance to provide tailored learning experiences in a supportive and nurturing environment. We are well resourced, with a great sized classroom and outdoor area with support of a full-time EY TA and wider support from a fantastic team.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, ambitious and self-motivated professional wanting to grow in their career. There is an expectation that the postholder will lead at least one subject throughout the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement an engaging curriculum that meets the needs of each child in your care.
Redesign the whole provision, both indoor and outdoor learning spaces to create a stimulating and inviting learning environment.
Lead early reading and phonics initiatives across the school, fostering a love of literacy from an early age.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to early years education.
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider community.
Grow connections with our pre-school providers
The ideal candidate should:
Have strong communication skills, high expectations and be a skillful EYFS classroom practitioner
Have an up to date knoweldge of current educational research
Be keen to learn and develop their teaching
Have the energy and determination to make a difference
Have a commitment to raising standards and achievement and demonstrate an excellent understanding of how pupils learn
Be an active participant of a journey of whole school development, open to change and willing to trial new educational initiatives

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check along with other pre-employment checks which must be undertaken before the role is confirmed by the school.
Candidates with prior Early Years experience are preferred. Visits are strongly welcomed and encouraged.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
