We are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Coordinator to join the SFT Supply Chain team based in Salisbury District Hosptial.
The role is a full time 37.5 hours / week Mon – Fri.
This is a customer focused role providing a service to maintain a continuous supply of goods to the forefront to deliver patient and clinical care. The role is varied and very physical in nature due to the activities that will be undertaken such as picking, packing, sorting, and the distribution of goods. With the use of leading-edge technology, you will be able to influence how goods are moved, managed, stored, purchased & replenished within your remit. You will need to be a strong team player and be flexible to work across the Trust as and when needed to support the wider service and your colleagues and stakeholders.
Main duties of the job
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that clinical services within the hospital have a continuous supply of goods in line with the Trust’s Inventory Management system. With the use of this leading-edge technology, you will be able to influence how goods are moved, managed, stored, purchased & replenished within your remit. The role requires scheduled visits to the departments, undertaking stock inventory using Electronic Data Capture and other Materials Control systems. This will include investigating discrepancies, problem solving, contacting suppliers, and conveying information to stakeholders in a timely manner.

1. Maths and English GCSE at grade C and above or equivalent.
Desirable criteria
2. Any other Procurement related qualification.

3. Experience of working multi-functional business environment.

4. Experience of working in a purchasing and supplies function within a multi-function service industry or public sector organisation.
