We have expanded services with focused pathways on Secondary mental health, Trauma, Personality Disorder, Dementia care and Learning Disability/ASD. We are looking to recruit passionate Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist on a 12 month fixed term contract. Main duties of the job HMP Birmingham is part of the regional resource for the remand estate in the West Midlands, and is a Cat B establishment, servicing the Birmingham crown and magistrates' courts. The prison currently holds a maximum of 970 prisoners, with a combination of both sentenced and remand adult males. We are now looking to enhance our skilled team, with a Speech and Language Therapist to build services for the LDA and Neurodiverse pathway. Our service has defined structured Mental Health teams in operation and a supportive multi-disciplinary team, made up of Nurses, Occupational therapist, Psychiatrist and Psychologists.
