Role Details
Elementa are supporting this well-established and well run primary school with a long-standing good reputations. This is a one-form entry primary school with Catholic christian values. The staff team at the school work incredibly hard to give the children excellent education opportunities and emotional development through pastoral support.
The school have a colleague taking maternity leave from the end of January 2025 and are investigating all avenues in order to find the best possible teacher to take on the role during the maternity leave. As with all maternity contracts, the role may be extended and has the potential to be made permanent, pending the permanent post-holdres decision on returning to work.
This role is open to all teachers with UK QTS, whether an ECT / FQT however it's currently TBC whether an ECT induction could be supported. Given that this school is a one-form entry, whatever the stage of career of any applicant, the focus on selecting the right person will be based more on their ability to work autonomously as part of a hard-working team. Whilst the staff are supportive of each other, the confidence and competency of the applying teacher in the direction and delivery of curriculum will be a key consideration of any applicant.
