We are seeking to appoint a full time Radiography Clinical Lead to join our growing Radiography and AHP team at the University of Salford. You will be an experienced HCPC registered radiographer with a broad range of experience, across all clinical areas. You will demonstrate a passion for developing the next generation of radiographers and have experience in delivery high-quality, evidence based radiographic care and have a comprehensive knowledge of clinical radiographic education. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and be a strong team player, dedicated to creating the best possible student experience. We deliver a range of medical imaging programmes to meet the needs of a diverse group of learners and as such our team works flexibly, including some Saturdays. Interviews are expected to be held on Monday 27th January 2025 For an informal conversation about this role, please contact Claire Mercer (Head of Radiography) ( c.e.mercersalford.ac.uk ) Key Responsibilities Day to day management of Salford University’s Medical Imaging Facility https://www.salford.ac.uk/our-facilities/centre-for-medical-imaging Develop and embed policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure there is a robust governance system in place to include PACS/RIS, QA/QC of all equipment within the facility. Ensure that all work within the medical imaging facility is carried out to a high standard and is based on a sound evidence base. Work alongside the radiography team to develop a curriculum that is both contemporary, achievable and empowering for the future radiographic workforce Support students to develop and refine clinical skills and competencies Deliver a range of teaching and learning sessions to assist the delivery of academic modules A bit about our School (use/tailor example School intros from our Hub) With over 8,000 learners we are the largest School at the University, with colleagues and learners from all over the world.
