Qualification and Experience
12. Qualified Teacher Status
13. Degree qualification or equivalent
14. Demonstrable achievements in excellence as a teacher
15. Primary and secondary teachers are welcome to apply

17. Expert understanding of innovative pedagogy
18. Experience of assessment without levels including tracking pupil progress
19. Knowledge and understanding of statutory assessment arrangements at the various key stages
20. Knowledge and understanding of effective strategies to manage the behaviour of pupils
21. Excellent knowledge of inclusion and equality, including SEMH, EAL, bilingual learners, ethnic minority, gender etc.
22. Excellent understanding of safeguarding especially the safety and welfare of vulnerable and disadvantaged pupils
23. Expert knowledge of strategies for closing the gap
24. The ability and willingness to teach a range of subjects
25. Contribution to the educational and social development of each young person
26. The ability to form effective relationships with young people, their families (if appropriate) and external agencies
27. To ensure that young people’s views and wishes are sought and acted upon where appropriate
28. Ensure that appropriate resources and environment exist for individual pupils referred to the service, and that opportunity for inclusion are available to all our students
29. To liaise with other teachers and teaching assistants in the team to ensure effective deployment of resources
