Morning shifts from 5.30am - 2pm over 5 days As the Deli service leader at Rheged you are responsible for the effective running of the Deli counter including food preparation, food hygiene, sales, customer service and quality of product. You will support the department manager to ensure that we maintain a high food safety rating, maintain our sales and create growth opportunities. You will also support to ensure our colleagues are coached and that the food is prepared and presented to a high standard. It all starts with the preparation. You will ensure that all ingredients are prepped and that your work area is set up ready for an efficient service You will have a good understanding of your ingredients and dishes and will deliver exceptional standards in your food preparation, consistently follow menu specs and correctly record wastage. Adhere to food safety regulations/standards and maintain compliance with environmental health standards. Maintain cleaning schedules and ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are of a high standard. Keep accurate records of temperature logs, expiration dates, and cleaning schedules. Support other members of the team and develop good working relationships with each other Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their orders.
