The Role
TH is looking to add a Financial Sponsors Group Specialist to join our newly created Financial Sponsors Group. The chosen candidate will play a critical role in advising clients on complex debt financing solutions. As part of our FSG practice, the role requires a professional with in-depth knowledge of capital markets, M&A, and established relationships with lenders and financial institutions across Europe, and ideally, globally. This senior position is integral to driving the firm's advisory capabilities, delivering customized financing strategies, and ensuring client satisfaction through expertise and high-touch service.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Advisory and Relationship Management
* Building and nurturing relationships with Financial Sponsors in both the UK & Europe
* Originating transactions across Technology Holdings core verticals
Key Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, CFA, ACA) are highly preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of 10 years in M&A, corporate finance, or related fields, with a strong record of leading complex financing transactions.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in reviewing financial modelling and working knowledge of legal documentation for financing transactions.
* Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of establishing trusted client relationships. Performance Metrics:
* Client Satisfaction: Consistently high client satisfaction scores and repeat business.
* Deal Volume: Effective closure of transactions within agreed timelines and budgets.
* Revenue Generation: Contribution to the firm's revenue targets through successful deal sourcing and execution.
