Tradewind Recruitment are thrilled to be recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Swadlincote. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and nurturing environment, helping students with a range of additional needs to thrive and develop.
* Role: Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant
* Location: Swadlincote, SEN School
* Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Term-time only)
* Daily Rate: 85 - 95 per day (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one support to students with Special Educational Needs, helping them to engage with the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
* Support students with a variety of additional needs, including but not limited to autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
* Collaborate with class teachers and SEN staff to create tailored learning plans for students.
* Assist with personal care where necessary, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
* Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere to build students' confidence and independence.
Key Requirements:
* Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
* A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to supporting students.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members.
* Enhanced DBS Disclosure is required for this role (can be obtained through Tradewind Recruitment if necessary).
