Sports Coach/Unqualified PE Teacher Greenwich Rikama Education is partnering with a wonderful SEN school in Greenwich, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coach/Unqualified PE Teacher to deliver engaging lessons for students in Key Stages 1-4. The students have SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) and behavioural needs, with most learning at Key Stage 2/3 or early years levels. These students require a smaller, more structured educational setting to help them thrive. About the Role: The successful candidate will have a background in sports and experience working within an SEN (Special Educational Needs) environment. You'll be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons to small groups of students, maintaining their focus and engagement. Additionally, you will assist in other areas of school life, taking on Teaching Assistant duties when not delivering PE lessons. Key Requirements: Proven teaching ability with experience in an SEN setting. A background in PE or sports, with a PE/Sports Degree, Level 2 Sports qualification, or QTS certificate. A minimum of 2 years' experience teaching in UK primary schools. A valid DBS clearance (can be obtained through the company).
