Key Responsibilities: Training and Development: Deliver accredited training courses and competency assurance programs at our training center and on-site. Develop and review technical and training materials to ensure they align with industry best practices and standards. Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Assist with internal and external accreditation activities, ensuring training programs are up to date and meet the required standards. Perform ad-hoc duties and provide support in operational management as required. Operational Excellence: Oversee the assembly and packaging of products, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Identify opportunities for process improvement, suggesting and implementing changes to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Build strong working relationships with colleagues to ensure smooth inter-departmental collaboration and alignment with organizational goals. Health, Safety, and Quality (HSEQ): Promote a positive health and safety culture by reporting unsafe situations and incidents and taking proactive measures to prevent risks. Maintain high housekeeping standards, ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Participate in HSEQ tasks and meetings, contributing to continuous improvement in safety, environmental performance, and regulatory compliance. Follow all safety procedures and standards, ensuring work is carried out safely and in line with industry regulations. Take responsibility for safety interventions and reporting any non-compliances, helping to uphold a culture of safety excellence. Ensure compliance with company HSEQ procedures, contributing to the organization's integrated management system. Qualifications: Full UK driving licence. NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) qualification or equivalent. Recognized Instructional Techniques qualification. Rigging & Lifting qualifications (NSL/EAL L3, OPITO Assessment/Reassessment, NPORS, or equivalent). Banksman Slinger qualifications (NSL/EAL L3, OPITO St. Assessment/Reassessment, NPORS, or equivalent). Competence Assessor/Verifier qualification (SQA, OPITO, or equivalent). Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: Proven experience in the lifting industry with a solid understanding of energy and lifting market needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with team members and trainees. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and work under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and strong IT skills. Knowledge of crane operations, transportation, and manual handling. A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in reporting and training materials.
