Description
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for training and developing Account Managers and for leading high-profile client accounts. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for leading strategic account initiatives and directly working with the Client Services Manager to improve and maximize total productivity throughout the Account Management Department.
Requirements
1. Create and follow standard practices for clear, concise ticket writing including impositions, binding instructions, and/or charts in a timely manner.
2. Develop and deploy standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies for the Account Management department. Cross-train new Account Managers on business procedures, best practices, and operating standards.
3. Lead high-profile client portfolios and teach and train Account Managers on business tactics best practices.
4. Act as a liaison and integrate efficient procedures within SeaChange systems cross-functionally throughout the organization.
5. Develop, create, and train on best practices within the Account Management Department and cross-functionally as needed.
6. Meet with internal and external customers to respond and resolve complaints and conflicts in a positive and respectful manner. Teach Account Managers proper de-escalation tactics.
7. Train and share current processes, best practices, and new technical knowledge in the graphic arts, electronic pre-press, and SeaChange operating procedures.
8. Understand and use the SeaChange billing system and specific customer price lists.
9. Ensure that clear communication and accurate billing invoices based on the specifications of the job are provided to the customers prior to sending.
10. Generate distribution and mail list planning.
11. Communicate with other departments to provide or obtain information necessary to complete assigned accountabilities in a fully satisfactory manner.
12. Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency situations for both the Account Management team and Customers.
13. Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
1. Capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
2. 5 or more years of proven project management experience in an account management setting within the printing industry required.
3. Extensive knowledge of the print and mailing industry.
4. Strong communication and writing skills.
5. High degree of organization and professionalism required to manage the needs of internal and external clients.
Education and Experience
1. An associate degree in printing, technology or related field or a High School diploma/GED along with the equivalent industry-related experience and/or a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
2. Proficiency in Pace/EFI production system or similar.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
