Closing date: 08 Dec 2024 Interview date: w/c 16 Dec 2024 Role: The Head of Human Resources (HR) is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring HR strategies, policies and procedures that enable the organisation to achieve its strategic aims and objectives. The post holder must have a strong understanding of HR policies and employment regulations, and be able to demonstrate leadership, communication, and IT skills and is responsible for the overall management of the organisation's HR function and team. The post holder will support the AMH Senior Management Team to ensure the appropriate staff and volunteers are recruited, effectively managed and developed. You will have (essential): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in HR Management or relevant subject Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development at Chartered Member or Fellow level Extensive experience of HR management in an organisation ensuring compliance with all relevant employment legislation Proven experience of leading a HR team Experience of managing a budget, including staff and resources Experience of using and developing HR data management systems A full current driving licence and access to a car is essential. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence.
