Job summary The Automation Developer will develop, test, maintain, monitor and support both clinical and corporate robotic process automations. You will support the day-to-day management and development of critical clinical system automation across the Trust. This will involve working with a variety of technologies and programming languages, tools and standards. The role will be responsible for the suite of automation tools utilised within the Trust to provide key processing of routine tasks. Working with the wider System Development Team you will contribute to system architecture design, development, quality assurance, and release management for all in-house supported developments, including custom built applications. You will work with business analysts in the trust to understand the business requirements, and design appropriate technical solutions to meet the needs of the organisation to deliver safe and effective patient care. You will need to be adaptable and capable of using your judgement to prioritise and make decisions. You must be prepared to listen to and understand System and Quality Management issues raised by users, and successfully resolve any problems identified. You will be expected to convey a positive, professional image, representing the Digital Team. You must demonstrate a proactive approach to meet requests for support, and exercise appropriate initiative in a high profile and busy environment and be able to demonstrate the ability to liaise effectively and confidently with people at all levels.
