We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Leader to join our Academy as Headteacher. The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving the school forward in collaboration with our Executive Headteacher. Key responsibilities:
* To provide outstanding educational vision, leadership and direction for the Academy, ensuring great pupil outcomes are achieved sustainably, and annual performance targets are met.
* To have core responsibility for: teaching and learning, curriculum development, developing teaching staff and creating a culture of safety and happiness within the academy.
* To work with other E-ACT academies within the region and Trust, to enable and support the sharing of good practice within the Trust, with a strong focus on the quality of teaching and learning.
* The Headteacher is accountable to E-ACT’s Trustees and is responsible for creating a productive learning environment which reflects E-ACT’s ethos.
* To implement the People Strategy, fostering a people-first culture that priorities engagement, impact and learning and development.

Qualifications and Skills:
* To lead in developing and implementing the vision and strategic direction of the Academy
* Have a strong commitment to pastoral care and responsible for strategically leading and managing behaviour and attitudes, attendance and safeguarding across the school.
* Ensure all information required by the Executive Headteacher, Education Director and other key colleagues is produced accurately, timely and efficiently.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven senior leadership and management experience in schools.
