We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Assistant to join a dynamic and growing Real Estate Law team for a well-known top-tier law firm in Melbourne.
This prestigious law firm is looking for an organised, proactive, and professional individual to support the Partner and other fee earners in the day-to-day running of their real estate / property practice. If you have a minimum of 4 years of legal assistant experience, with specific knowledge in real estate matters, this is an excellent opportunity for you to advance your legal career.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Partner and the Real Estate Law team.
2. Handle general legal assistant duties including drafting documents, preparing client correspondence, and managing files.
3. Proficient with PEXA transactions and online duties related to property transactions.
4. Prepare and process monthly billing for clients.
5. Maintain and manage client files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurately filed.
6. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and third parties to facilitate the smooth processing of real estate matters.
7. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements at all times.
Key Requirements :
1. Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in Real Estate practice area.
2. Familiarity with PEXA and online property transaction platforms.
3. Strong experience with monthly billing processes and working with billing systems.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
6. Ability to manage competing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
7. Proactive and positive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.
